Once a month, Edgewood has a potluck. Everyone is welcome to stay after the morning service for the meal. If you are a visitor, we encourage you to stay for lunch because we have some awesome cooks and it's a great way to get to know us a little better.
Over the years, our meals together have become a great time of fellowship and community. With everyone's busy schedules, it's nice to have a chance to sit down as a church family and share a meal. The Fellowship Lunches are always a blessing. It is a special time that has become a real part of the Edgewood experience.
Whether you are a longtime member, have been coming regularly, or are a first time visitor, you will be warmly welcomed!
"Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts." (Psalm 33:3 ESV)
"Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart." (Ephesians 5:19 ESV)
"Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth!" (Psalm 96:1 ESV)
Music is a part of our worship service and our desire is for it to be Christ-centered and rich in theology. We want the music to be purposeful and to encourage God's people to "sing praises to God." (Ps. 47:6)
Everyone has different tastes in music, so we try to have a mixture of old and new songs. We don't want to forsake the wisdom of some of the Christian song writers who came before us and also enjoy the talented Christians of today.
We worship with a variety of music from artists such as...
Matt Maher, Hillsong, Zach Williams, Rend Collective, Isaac Watts, Matt Redman, MercyMe, David Crowder, Mark Altrogge, Integrity's Hosanna! Music, Chris Tomlin, Sovereign Grace, John Newton, Paul Baloche, Brian Doerkson, Bethel Music, Lauren Daigle, Keith and Kristyne Getty, and many talented song writers from generations past.
